Advocacy Training Day: Uniting Behind Jewish Issues in a Divisive Time

2:00PM - 3:30PM

Sunday, March 2, 2025
Virtual on Zoom
2:00 PM EST - 3:30 PM EST

One of the most difficult challenges in advocacy in a deeply polarized political and cultural moment is speaking about an issue in a way that doesn't show bias or trigger partisan responses. This skill's application, however, is not limited to political advocacy. More and more, to operate effectively in business or even at the Thanksgiving table, we all need the ability to talk about issues outside of a politically and culturally binary context.

We will be joined by advocacy professionals and learn about non-partisan advocacy techniques to use in an increasingly partisan atmosphere. We'll also review our 2025 Jewish Community Advocacy Priorities and why they;ve been chosen. This will be a great preparation for our SC Jewish Advocacy Day at the State House, which takes place the Wednesday after this training!
